From Glasgow (Approximately 90 minutes)

  1. Take the M8 westbound towards Greenock
  2. Continue onto the A8 towards Gourock
  3. At Gourock, take the ferry to Dunoon (Western Ferries from McInroy's Point to Hunter's Quay)
  4. From Dunoon, follow the A815 north towards Strachur
  5. After approximately 11 miles, you'll reach Whistlefield
  6. Look for the sign to Huisje on your right, just past Jubilee Point

Alternative Route (via Rest and Be Thankful)

  1. From Glasgow, take the A82 along Loch Lomond
  2. At Tarbet, take the A83 towards Inveraray
  3. Continue over the Rest and Be Thankful pass
  4. At Cairndow, take the A815 south towards Dunoon
  5. After approximately 15 miles, you'll reach Whistlefield
  6. Look for the sign to Huisje on your left

The Rest and Be Thankful pass can occasionally close during bad weather. Please check road conditions before traveling, especially during winter months.
